While sorry for her son’s crash and the deaths of both on board, her demands to the flight school would be impossible to implement and still operate the flight school. Further, none of the changes demanded would in any way affect the most important elements of any flight, the PIC’s knowledge and flying experience as well as their decision making ability. Most flight instructors are building time themselves, and flying in mountainous terrain is a challenge even for experienced pilots who know the effects of wind in terrain.
