The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Meredith’s Makeover, a modernized look at the Meredith’s Miracles Thrift Store on Friday, May 17.

The event coincided with an open house for what would have been Meredith McGlamory’s 26th birthday.

Among those in attendance were Meredith’s Miracles Executive Kiley Spears, Meredith’s Miracles Retail Donation Program Manager Aylish Parker, Meredith’s Miracles Thrift Store Co-manager Ashley Cross, Meredith’s Miracles board members, AACC Executive Director Mellisa King, AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, Chamber Treasurer Micah Garner, Chamber board members Garret Bowers, Sarah McClung, and Commission Chairman Greg White.

The Meredith’s Miracles Thrift Store recently updated its exterior with black paint and renovated the interior for its first remodeling project since 2019.
