    Covington County family in need of assistance after house fire

    Clothing, other items needed after June 3 fire

    A Covington County family is working to rebuild their lives after their home was destroyed by a fire on June 3.

    The family escaped the fire with only the clothes on their backs, losing everything else. They are in need of clothing, sheet sets, pillows and blankets. They also need a couch, three beds of any size, and personal hygiene products.

    The family could also use prepared food and drinks as they are unable to cook food in their current situation.

    The family is currently located at Econo Lodge in Andalusia where they will be until Thursday, June 13. The family can be reached at 334-892-4009.

    Clothing items needed include the following:

    • Men’s — 42×29 jeans, size 10 shoes, 4x size shirts
    • Women’s — 2x and 3x clothes (prefer dresses), size 9-10 shoes
    • Older Girl — size XL shirts, size 16 pants or XL leggings, size 12 women’s shoes
    • Younger Girl — size XL shirts, size XL pants or 16 jeans, size 9-10 women’s shoes
    • Young Boy — size 10-12 clothes, size 2 shoes
    • Women’s — size 3X shirt, size 22 pants, size 9-10 women’s shoes
