The Kentucky Distillers’ Association announced Extended Stave Warehousing in Lawrenceburg as the newest member of the non-profit trade group. Located at 2160 Harrodsburg Road in Anderson County, Extended Stave features a 50-gallon copper pot still, 15 palletized warehouses with capacity to store up to 16,400 barrels each, once fully constructed, and an event space for clients and brands.
Farmers market holds kids day on July 27
The Anderson County Farmers Market is calling all young aspiring entrepreneurs to participate in the second annual Kid Entrepreneur Day. Kid Entrepreneur Day will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Century Bank Park. It allows kids between the ages of five and 17 to sell products or trade services at their own stand at the farmer’s market.
Anderson County man sentenced for trafficking resulting in overdose death
FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lawrenceburg man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday after distributing fentanyl that resulted in the death of an inmate. According to the Department of Justice, in March 2022, Daniel Hudson was booked into the Franklin County Regional Jail for state offenses.
