Hill Electric was thrilled to award scholarships to two Anderson 1 & 2 Career & Technology Center (ACTC) graduates at their May 10th ceremony to go toward their future education.

The recipients of these scholarships are Brycen McDaniel and Nolan Guest. Both Palmetto High School students, Brycen and Nolan participated in the ACTC program, which has the goal of preparing students for successful careers and post-secondary education through quality instruction.

These deserving students were selected for the $1,000 scholarships based on their exceptional academic achievements, with a grade point average at or above 3.0, and their commitment to pursuing a trades career in the future.

Brycen plans to attend Tri County Technical College to pursue a business degree, with the goal of opening his own company specializing in carpentry, electrical work, and small job services. Nolan intends to further his education by enrolling in the two-year Mechatronics program at Tri County Technical College. According to their teachers, both students showed a dedication to learning and problem solving.

“We are delighted to support the next generation of tradespeople by awarding these scholarships and providing essential tools to Brycen and Nolan,” said David Wolke, Vice President at Hill Electric. “Their outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities, and dedication to their chosen paths demonstrate their potential to excel. We proudly support ACTC and how they equip students for successful futures.”
