Faces of the Farmers Market: Rachel Kramer, My Goodness! Kombucha

Rachel Kramer, of Andover, sells My Goodness! Kombucha. She said she tried it 13 years ago and then started making it for her family. As a holistic health practitioner, she also shared this homemade brew with patients, who told her to sell, exclaiming, “My goodness, this is good!”

She said most people have never tried kombucha and fell in love with the healthy beverage options she shared. She has been selling kombucha for six years. She said she makes seasonal batches.

Winter selections, which are ending soon, include, Toxin Ninja, Elderberry and Beet. Summer is around the corner and will bring much celebration with these names, Flower Power, Strawberry, Lavender, Blueberry, Vacation in a Bottle, Mango and Honey Ginger.

She grows many herbs which are incorporated into the varieties of kombucha. Not only is Kramer a kombucha master and holistic health practitioner, but an author as well. She wrote a book highlighting the struggles in life, and how she overcame these with God and natural ways that suited her, including music and sound therapy, for good health. — CJ Burrgraff
