61-year-old Georgia man drowns in Myrtle Beach, coroner says
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A 61-year-old Georgia man drowned in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, according to the Horry County coroner’s office. Kemal Alic of Duluth, Georgia, was pulled from the ocean Wednesday morning near 18th Avenue S. He was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center from asphyxiation due to drowning, the coroner’s office said.
