Skip the Flip 6 — buy a Z Flip 5 for just $640 right now instead
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 was the redesign Samsung's flip phone needed when it came out in 2023. Motorola had been leaps and bounds ahead with its cover screens since it first revived the Razr in 2019, so Samsung finally introduced a bigger cover display, which was long overdue. The Flip 5 has just been replaced by the Flip 6, but that doesn't mean you should overlook the Flip 5. We gave it a 9/10 in our review for a reason, and it's been among our favorite foldables overall.
This zen-inducing river simulation game has convinced me of its untapped potential
More and more, the world of video games is partitioned by genre, be they great gacha games, puzzle games, or something else. The majority of new games fall into neat categories, easily explainable to the casual consumer hungry for something new. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but occasionally, something new comes along that defies any attempt to put it into a simple box. Roia is one of those games.
Redmagic consistently makes the best gaming phones, and the 9S Pro is the latest proof
Redmagic likes to refresh its line every mid-year with an S model, a way to keep things up to date without straying too far from the earlier design. This year, I'm reviewing the Redmagic 9S Pro. While its design hasn't changed much, the Snapdragon chipset is overclocked, and the internal cooling has been upgraded for a claimed 20% improvement, which is assuredly welcome for those who push their gaming to the limits.
5 reasons why I’m ready to buy the Galaxy Ring
Out of all the Galaxy Unpacked announcements this year, the one I'm most excited about is the Galaxy Ring. All the other products Samsung announced were either boring refreshes, like the foldables, or the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Buds 3, which are taking a little too much inspiration from Apple. By comparison, the Galaxy Ring is a new form factor for Samsung, and it seems to seamlessly fit into the smartphone ecosystem.

New Pixel 9 hands-on videos show off XL model and comparisons with iPhone and S24 Ultra
Google has announced its next Pixel hardware event, which is set to take place next month. And while there were already expectations for a Pixel event in 2024, what caught many by surprise was the fact that it was announced to take place in August, when in the past, it had always taken place in October. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that we've already seen plenty of leaks regarding some of the devices that will most likely take the stage during the brand's summer event.
T-Mobile could soon let you buy phone insurance even if you missed your sign-up window
A report says T-Mobile will remove the 30-day enrollment restriction for its P360 device protection plan. Currently, insurance is only offered during the first 30 days after purchasing a phone. This move is expected to change that as soon as July 16. P360 covers lost/stolen devices, accidental damage, hardware problems,...
4 reasons why you should buy Galaxy Watch 7 instead of Galaxy Ring
After teasing it alongside the Galaxy S24 series in January, Samsung finally unveiled its first smart ring, the Galaxy Ring, at the recent Unpacked event. Alongside the new smart ring, the tech giant also introduced the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. With these devices now available...
Here's how the Galaxy Z Fold 6 got me through six hours of air travel delays
A funny thing happened on my way back from picking up my Galaxy Z Fold 6 review unit last week. Just about five minutes out from getting dropped off at JFK, my flight home to Buffalo was delayed by, at first, a couple of hours. By the time I got through security, it was delayed again. A strong set of storms making their way across New York State — including some rare tornadoes — meant that I was stranded in the airport, without much more to keep me company than, well, a shiny new $2,000 foldable sitting in my bag.
