Rodent reported inside state public health building in Las Cruces
A state public health office in Las Cruces remained open on Monday, two weeks after state workers and the public reported seeing a rodent. Workers from three different state-run programs operating in the building reported encountering a rodent in late July, according to emails reviewed by Source New Mexico. FedEx Donates Mobile Canteen to Salvation Army Southwest Division
FedEx announced it donated a mobile canteen to the Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) vehicle fleet of The Salvation Army Southwest Division, which is based in Phoenix and serves Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Nevada. This is the 24th mobile canteen FedEx has donated across the U.S. and around the world since 2006.
CYFD: 789 truancy referrals amid chronic absenteeism in New Mexico schools
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Video above: Parents received an 'Attendance Pre-Notification' letter on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, to address absenteeism for the new school year. The letter below addresses the percentage rate a student falls under if attendance requirements are not met throughout the school year.
