A passenger who was killed during a rollover crash in Steuben County has been identified.

On July 3, at approximately 4:55 p.m., New York State Police in Bath responded to a motor vehicle accident on State Route 371 near State Route 21 in the town of Cohocton. A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Lukas J. Ellsessor, 31, of Angelica, NY, was traveling north on State Route 371 when it passed another vehicle in a no-passing zone, according to troopers. Ellsessor lost control of the vehicle, causing it to exit the roadway and roll over, troopers said.

Adrian V. Gregory-Kielbasa, 26, of Angelica, NY, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Ellsessor was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.

    The investigation is ongoing.
