An oil sheen extending for miles off the Galveston coast has been traced to an 'inactive' offshore drilling platform, with local fishermen and business owners raising concerns for their livelihood and the environment; this development closely follows a separate incident involving a barge collision and the resultant oil leak into Galveston Bay, as reported by Click2Houston and ABC News respectively.
