Good evening everyone. Severe Weather and torrential rain has made its push into the west coast, central, and parts of south Florida as Tropical Storm Debby continues to parallel the Gulf Coast.

Winds remain at 65mph for now and the center of circulation is starting to make its way towards the Big Bend area of Florida. Storm surge warnings remain in effect for surge reach 6-10ft in spots. We also expect Debby to eventually make it to hurricane strength.

Look for the continuation of copious amounts of rain, widespread brief tornadoes. damaging winds, and of course, major storm surge flooding during high tide cycles. A landfalling hurricane is expected between the hours of 6 and 9am tomorrow morning in the Big Bend area.

Stay tuned to your local agencies for the latest watches and warnings. Pleae listen to local officials in regards to evacuations.
