Below Freezing Temperatures May Damage Crops Overnight Tonight

Good evening everyone. Behind our cold front that brought some severe weather to New York & Pennsylvania last night, plus some heavy showers & thunderstorms to parts of New England this morning, we have some very chilly air filtering into the Upper Midwest.

Across upper and central Minnesota & Wisconsin, temperatures are expected to dip into the 25-30 degree range overnight tonight and into early tomorrow morning; especially away from the "heat island" effect of some of the bigger cities.

For this reason, the National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Frost advisories may also be extended into the U.P. of Michigan for similar conditions overnight.

Expect near or below freezing temperatures for a second night tomorrow night, which may prompt the need for frost advisories tomorrow night as well.
