FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTUU) - A 29-year-old soldier was hit and killed this week by an alleged drunk driver at the main gate of Fort Wainwright. Fairbanks Police say the crash occurred just after 5 p.m. on Monday when 911 received a call that three vehicles were involved in a collision just outside the Gaffney Road gate in Fairbanks.
