Anchor Point Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained In ATV Crash
An ATV rollover last week claimed the life of a woman in Anchor Point. According to the Alaska State Trooper dispatch on the crash, AST was notified of the rollover on Anchor River Road shortly before 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16. Troopers and EMS responded to the scene and transported 49-year-old Anchor Point resident Erica Bell to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Fighter jets intercepted Chinese and Russian bombers off the coast of Alaska from China and Russia, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) announced Wednesday. Anchorage Man Found Floating In Kenai River Dies
An Anchorage man who was found floating in the Kenai River on Monday has died in Anchorage despite lifesaving efforts. Alaska Wildlife Troopers were notified shortly before 12:30 on Monday, July 22, that an adult male had been spotted floating in the Kenai River near the Bings Landing area. A response team of Alaska State Troopers, Alaska State Park Rangers, and Emergency Medical Services quickly responded to the area.
