Prince William's grudge against Prince Andrew has to do with a comment he made about Kate Middleton

The UK's Daily Express reports that Prince William's grudge against his uncle, Prince Andrew has its origin in an incident that took place more than a decade ago.

At the time, William was still dating his then-girlfriend, Kate Middleton.

When William introduced Kate to the royal family, it was reported that Andrew made her feel unwelcome.

Royal expert Richard Kay has this to say about the long-standing grudge,

"William has long held a grudge against Andrew for being unwelcoming when he first introduced the then Kate Middleton to the Royal Family and feels that his father has been too soft on him."

William is thought to be making moves to ensure that Andrew will be excluded from formal royal events.
