Prince Harry sent a deeply personal note to King Charles after a tragic event in 2021

The UK's The Daily Express reports that Prince Harry sent a deeply personal letter to King Charles at the time of Prince Philip's funeral.

Harry felt compelled to write the letter after there was a "complete communication breakdown." This occurred right after the Oprah Winfrey interview and the allegations of racism within the royal family.

Charles was deeply hurt and Harry thought that the only way to bridge the gap with his father was to send a letter.

In the letter, Harry explained why he had to leave the royal family but he also wrote that he respected the institution.

However, the letter did not accomplish much as the focus was on Prince Philip's funeral.
