In the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II's death, Prince William sent a last-minute text to Prince Harry that resulted in a temporary peace between the two brothers.

William reportedly sent a final-hour text to Harry inviting him and Meghan Markle on a walkabout to greet royal fans mourning the Queen's death.

It was the first time Harry and Meghan reunited with William and Kate Middleton since they left the UK and made their home in the US.

The walkabout lasted for 40 minutes and was thought to be nerve-wracking for Kate and Meghan who did not speak to each other.

An inside source claimed that the decision to have Harry and Meghan join William and Kate on the walkabout was made very suddenly.
