Queen Camilla isn't afraid to display the royal pecking order and her seniority within it.

As the most senior royal woman, Camilla is reported to get first dibs on the type and color of outfit she will wear to an event.

However, there was a problem when it came to the color of the outfits that the royal women wore to public events.

Camilla is a fan of the color, blue. However, both Kate and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh are also fans of the color, blue.

As the most senior royal woman in the family, Camilla could choose her outfit color first. However, Kate and Sophie were not allowed to wear the same color as Camilla and this became a source of consternation for the women.

Later, Camilla's dresser relaxed the rules ensuring that Kate and Sophie could still wear the color, blue as long as it was in a different shade from what Camilla wore.
