Admiral Lord Alan West, an ex-Navy chief in the UK, has warned Prince Harry about his Pat Tillman Award nomination.

Harry will receive the Pat Tillman Award for service on July 11. Meanwhile, the granting of the award to Harry has instigated controversy.

Tillman's mother is also reported to be unhappy that Harry is nominated for the award as she feels other candidates are more deserving.

Meanwhile Lord West has issued a warning to Harry per The Daily Express.

Lord West's warning to Harry is that he needs to think "very hard and long" about accepting certain awards. He believes that Harry should turn down the award.

This is what Lord West had to say about Harry's award,

"He ought to think very hard and long about accepting awards for things like being an exceptional pilot and being exceptionally brave.
"Some of the blame must lie with ESPN. They like picking him because it gives them immense publicity. But this is rather bad publicity for Harry."
