Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will never become the best of friends but when they first met, viewers noticed that they had one thing in common.

Both women loved tennis and were huge fans of the sport. Meghan often attended tennis tournaments involving her friend, Serena Williams, the tennis star. Meanwhile, Kate is patron of the All England Club.

Both Kate and Meghan even attended a Wimbledon tournament together in July 2018. While the two women seemed to be on friendly terms at the time, the truth was more complicated. Under the laughs and the jokes and having the commonality of loving tennis as a sport, Meghan and Kate really could not get along.
