An article in The Mirror recalls a time when the late Queen Elizabeth II became "hopping mad" because of what she deemed to be an act of impertinence from Prince Harry and Meghan.

In 2020, Harry and Meghan had decided to quit working for the royal family. However, they still tried to trademark the "Sussex Royal" brand.

According to royal author Robert Lacey, the Queen was very angry about this.

"When Harry and Meghan decided to trademark Sussex Royal products without asking the Queen's permission, the extent of royal fury at Sussex impertinence rose to even higher levels. 'Hopping' was a mild description of how mad the family was."
