Michigan Head Coach Sherrone Moore received a commitment from Michigan native and Michigan State Spartans legacy recruit Kaden Strayhorn late last month, a surprising commitment that could shape the Wolverines’ offensive line for years to come.

Strayhorn is the son of former Michigan State star Jason Strayhorn and a key pickup for the Wolverines’ Class of 2025.

On Sunday, the younger Strayhorn revealed he’s been working out with a former two-time NFL Pro Bowler who also happens to be an alumnus of the Ohio State Buckeyes: LeCharles Bentley.

Strayhorn posted a video of himself going through drills with the ex-guard/center, sharpening his skills in preparation for this fall’s high school football season and his eventually arrival in Ann Arbor to play for Coach Moore’s team.

Bentley also offered words of encouragement for his young pupil on offense as he got ready to hit the football field in a gym setting.

"Go be great," Bentley wrote, with a flexing arm emoji and praying hands emoji preceding the sentence. "The game is a tool, leverage it, make it better, get out and then start the next & best chapters of your life."
