Netflix announced Monday that it will release a documentary about Michigan Wolverines football’s sign-stealing scandal. The film will feature Connor Stalions's perspective on the story.

Stalions was the primary scapegoat for the sign-stealing scandal that caused much media controversy surrounding the Wolverines throughout its 2023 run to the national championship last season.

Less than a year after the speculation arose, Netflix will spotlight it as part of their Untold series in an episode called “Sign Stealer,” which will air on Aug. 27 — starring none other than Stalions himself recollecting his side of the story.

Untold has addressed a variety of unique sports stories in the past. They revisited the infamous "Malice at the Palace" brawl involving the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons, Caitlyn Jenner’s life and Olympic career, the bizarre fake girlfriend fiasco with former Notre Dame Fighting Irish player Manti Te’o, the NBA sports betting scandal involving referees, and Jake Paul’s boxing career.

The last time Stalions made public comments of significant consequence, he was stating his resignation.

The NCAA investigated Stalions after reports arose of the Michigan staff sign-stealing against opponents. The previous season, Stalions allegedly bought tickets to four different campus games of four College Football Playoff contenders.

The documentary will indeed have college football fans watching as parts of the nation still firmly believe the Wolverine's 2023 national championship should be vacated due to the alleged activities of Stalions.
