Jaxon Holly , the 2027 edge rusher from Alpharetta, Georgia, traveled to Michigan for a second time this summer to enjoy the BBQ at The Big House.

“I thought this weekend was great and fun to come back again before the season starts,” Holly told The Wolverine . “I think what stood out was the little practice with the recruits and get coached by the coaches.”

The reigning national champions offered Jaxon in early June. This was publicly reported shortly following his first appearance in Ann Arbor, which occurred on his older brother’s official visit—On300 2025 EDGE commit Julius Holly .

The eldest Holly joined Michigan’s class at the end of last month and is already making the effort to entice Jaxon to the maize and blue.

“He has definitely been recruiting me mostly out of everyone because you know I have the offer here to play and he always saying ‘Go Blue’ when he comes into my room,” Holly said. “I love Ann Arbor. It’s a great, special place, so he has. I would love to play with him again and maybe in the league one day and become the best edges ever to play.”

The pitches from Julius have been receptive.

“This is one of my favorite schools since I was little, and I was like, ‘Yeah, I can see myself here with my brother one day,” Holly said. “Playing with him again.”

The pair of siblings returned over the weekend as Jaxon underwent a workout led by Michigan defensive line coach Lou Esposito . Jaxon also spoke in-depth with head coach Sherrone Moore again.

“I think the coaching staff is great,” Holly said. “Me and Coach Moore were talking about, ‘Can’t wait to see you this year,’ and (he) said, ‘You been looking bigger’ and just chopping it up. Good times. Coach Lou, we went over some EDGE moves, and lot of teaching for us to improve our game even more.”

While Jaxon continues to build a relationship with Esposito and Moore, he’s beginning to gravitate towards their teachings and leadership style.

“They have (an) excellent future on this team,” Holly said. “Whatever happens later in life, they love (the) team. It’s never ‘I’ so that’s a big thing. They show love and know how to make it feel like home. (They) know lots of things about ball, especially, and are very good at what they bring to this team and players.”

Knowing the history of Michigan’s development success, that’s churned multiple former players to the NFL, has piqued Jaxon’s interest, similar to what helped led Julius to the program

“You (have Aidan Hutchinson ) now at the Lions and (has) been having outstanding years,” Holly said. “These seniors on the team are doing very well and can’t wait to see what they bring to this team this year. The edges are just going to be coming every year and doing good like my brother will do.”

The Wolverines hold the early lead for Jaxon on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, Holly is not yet listed on the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four primary recruiting media services.

Along with Michigan, Jaxon holds notable offers from Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, West Virginia, and Austin Peay.
