In an interview on Monday's Pardon My Take podcast alongside hosts Dan Katz and Eric Sollenberger, former Michigan Wolverines and current Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh revealed one particular college football game that still haunts him.

While on the podcast, Harbaugh shared numerous stories about the great rivalries he coached throughout his time with the San Diego Toreros, Stanford Cardinal, and Michigan Wolverines.

Harbaugh eventually mentioned the Paul Bunyan trophy, which provoked Katz to ask about the 2015 infamous last-second 27-23 Michigan State Spartans victory over the Wolverines at Michigan Stadium.

Harbaugh admitted that even after delivering a national championship to the Wolverines last season, he is still not over the devastating loss.

"I'm still not over that," Harbaugh said. "We had a punt blocked with 10 seconds left in the game that's left an indelible bruise."

Harbaugh continued by stating that the loss ranks as one of his top five worst moments of his life.

"One of the, I mean, top five worst things that ever happened to me in my life," Harbaugh added.

While admitting that the loss still stings, Harbaugh said that it forced him to adjust his punting style to a more traditional form that poses fewer risks.

"But yeah, it led to some [changes]," Harbaugh said. "Eliminating that college punt. That spread punt. We're not going to do this spread punt ever again. We're going back to the good old-fashioned pro-style punting from here on out."

The loss Harbaugh referenced was a result of a blocked punt with 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter, which Michigan State defensive end Jalen Watts-Jackson recovered and returned 38 yards for a game-winning touchdown.

With ESPN broadcaster Sean McDonough covering the game, the lore of his 'trouble with the snap' call continues to be a fan favorite throughout the Spartans fan base and a thorn in the side of the Wolverines.

The Wolverines host the Spartans at Michigan Stadium on Oct. 26, with a time and television network still to be determined.
