For those who are unfamiliar, The Poughkeepsie Tapes is a movie that came out in 2007 that follows the crimes of Poughkeepsie serial killer Edward Carver. The documentary follows investigators after New York murder investigators uncover hundreds of tapes showing decades of the serial killer's work. According to cardplayer.com, The Wappingers Falls native started his quest with a fourth-place finish in a 2019 marathon event after moving to Las Vegas full-time to become a professional card player. State to pay for half of bridge projects in Burlington, Sharon, Washington: 'State of good repair'
Bridges in need of repair or replacement in Burlington, Sharon and Washington are receiving funds from the Connecticut Department of Transportation to pay for the projects. The DOT's State Local Bridge Program provides 50 percent of the funding for bridge projects; municipalities pay the other 50 percent. The program this year is proving more than $15.8 million in grants for 18 projects in Connecticut.
