‘Hawkeye & Michelle’ Send 20K Diapers To Cook Children’s Center.
Cumulus Media “New Country 96.3” KSCS Dallas morning hosts Mark “Hawkeye” Louis and Michelle Rodriguez collected more than 20,000 diapers from listeners during “Hawkeye & Michelle’s Diaper Drive” which concluded on July 19. The donations benefit Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. The diapers will be distributed to multiple departments throughout the hospital. In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) alone, Cook Children’s uses over 600 diapers a day in various sizes.

Growing up in southeast Texas, I was aware of cowboy culture because my great uncle had a stable of quarter horses and would take us to some of the local rodeos; however, I never knew there was an actual African American led rodeo in existence. The experience was electrifying where my son was glued to his seat from the competitive feats and the sounds from DJ Music Man kept us on the beat at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, TX.
