    Anniston Museum and Gardens to Host Plant Sale

    Anniston, AL – The Anniston Museum and Gardens is set to host its Third Thursday Plant Sale on July 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Longleaf Botanical Gardens (LBG) Greenhouses and Nursery. This event offers an excellent opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to support the growth of the Longleaf Botanical Gardens while enhancing their gardens with a variety of plants.

    The sale will feature a wide selection of trees, shrubs, natives, tropicals, and more, catering to various gardening preferences and needs. Among the specials available are Tropical Milkweed, priced at 2 for $8.00; Bottlebrush at 2 for $10.00; Carolina Hemlock at 2 for $10.00; Caladium Florida Sweetheart at 2 for $12.00; Southern Wood Fern (Sun or Shade) at 2 for $15.00; Golden Thryallis at $15 each; Turks Cap Big Mama at 2 for $20.00; American Beautyberry (Native) at 2 for $25.00; Carex Feather Falls at 2 for $30.00; and Autumn Fern at 2 for $30.00.

    Plant sales will take place at the LBG Greenhouses, located on Museum Drive. To reach the venue, drive past the Anniston Museum of Natural History and the Berman Museum, then turn left at the Monarch Butterfly.
