    3 rob Ansonia smoke shop at gunpoint

    ANSONIA, Conn. (WTNH) — Three masked people robbed an Ansonia smoke shop on Saturday evening, according to police.

    The two males wore all black at 7 p.m. Saturday when they robbed Moe’s Smoke Shop. Police said that one suspect went to the door, and then two others came in, according to police. The three people took about $100 in cash and $1,000 worth of merchandise.

    Police said that the suspects are young black males who were wearing black hooded sweatshirts. One wore white sweatpants, black-and-white sneakers and gloves, and had a black handgun. The second had black sweatpants, white-and-gray sneakers, purple gloves and had a silver revolver. The third had on gray jeans and gray sneakers.

    They drove off in a blue Honda sedan that was parked near Pershing Drive and Bridge Street, according to police.
