Folsom man arrested for attempted murder after motorcycle crash
FOLSOM, California — A 23-year-old Folsom man was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly chasing and intentionally striking a motorcyclist with his SUV, police said. The Folsom Police Department reported that multiple callers alerted authorities to a motorcycle vs. SUV crash at East Bidwell Street and Iron Point Road just before 8 p.m. Officers and emergency personnel rushed to the scene and determined that the driver of the SUV, Anders Erickson, had intentionally struck the motorcyclist.

Inmates at Folsom State Prison are giving back by donating to a scholarship fund focused on supporting students who have a parent incarcerated in a California state prison.
