ANTIGO — On Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Unified School District of Antigo proudly welcomed 18 of the best and brightest to educate our nest of students for the ‘24-’25 school year.

Superintendent Glenda Oginski gave a warm welcome and thank you to the new teachers for bringing their talents to Antigo, expecting a promising school year ahead of us.

The orientation included learning and discussing best practices for connecting with students and each other, culminating in a trolley tour of Antigo and lunch at the Noboken School Forest, where teachers and staff created camaraderie in canoes (and in some cases, in the water itself!).

Over the three weeks preceding the first day of school, there will be a myriad of training offerings for both new teachers and current staff, including a presentation from guest speaker Anthony Muhammad of Solution Tree, one of the leading K-12 education companies offering professional development.

Administration is thrilled to bring on board these innovative and knowledgeable new staff members!
