ANTIGO — Liberty Baptist Church will be hosting the musical group Resounding Praise Sunday, July 21, at 5 p.m.

The group, which according to Liberty Baptist pastor Brad Anderson is made up of former students from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wis., will be presenting a program of traditional hymn arrangements as well as a short devotional message.

“These are all former college students that tour and go to various churches during several weeks in the summertime,” Anderson said. “We have several students in our church that have been attending Maranatha, so just through connections, people know members of the group.

The fellow that’s leading the group, Tyler Juvinall, he’s the assistant director of Northland Camp in Dunbar, Wis., so among churches like ours, maybe those that have affiliation with Northland Camp or Maranatha would probably know Tyler too.”

Anderson said anyone from the community is welcome to attend.

“If you enjoy traditional Christian music, you would certainly enjoy them,” he said. “There will be a pianist and a couple of instruments playing. I think there will be a couple of packages where they sing four or five songs and have some intermittent things going on, and then sing four or five more songs, and so on.”

Liberty Baptist Church is located at 311 2nd Avenue in Antigo. Call (715) 623-4304 for more information.
