Playmakers SYC dazzles with The Prom
The Prom – this year’s musical production by The Summer Youth Conservatory (SYC) at Playmakers Repertory Company, the resident theater company at UNC – is excellent. The show runs through Sunday, July 28. Tickets are $10 for youth and $20 for adults, and they can be purchased online or at the box office. The production is in one of the small theaters at the Gillings Center for Dramatic Art, as technical upgrades are made to the main Playmakers’ stage. The intimacy of the small theater is an added thrill.
