    Seniors to underclassmen played big: 10 MVPs in the girls lacrosse Shore Conference Tournament

    This past Monday concluded the 2024 girls lacrosse Shore Conference Tournament.

    For the second straight time, Rumson-Fair Haven was the last team standing after beating top-seeded Trinity Hall 17-6. This season the SCT had its fair share of standout performances from all teams - including some from players whose teams didn't make it out the first round.

    Abby Boyle, Rumson-Fair Haven, Sr.

    The Ohio State commit finished with five goals to help capture her second consecutive SCT title over Trinity Hall on Monday afternoon. She was mainly quiet up until when it mattered most, but she did score a goal against Toms River North in the first round.

    Sarah Sullivan, Trinity Hall, Sr.

    The Fairfield University commit played well in the SCT to help her team it all the way to the championship. She had two goals and five assists against Red Bank Catholic, three goals and four assists against Manalapan, plus two goals and assists in the final round against the Bulldogs.

    Talia Blum, Manasquan, Sr.

    She has stayed consistent throughout the conference tournament at the midfielder position. She finished with two goals in games against Middletown South and Rumson-Fair Haven.

    Gabby O'Brien, Shore, Jr.

    At the midfielder position, she played strong for most of the tournament. She finished with five goals against Southern and Toms River East. She also led the Blue Devils with two goals against Trinity Hall in the semifinal.

    Aryelle Stein, Manalapan, Fr.

    The freshman led the Braves in their narrow first round win over Barnegat with two goals before running into Trinity Hall.

    Adyson Griffin, Southern, So.

    She made seven saves and only allowed one goal in a win over Central Regional in the first round.

    Alyson Sojak, Barnegat, Sr.

    The High Point University commit finished with three goals and two assists against Manalapan in the first round.

    Chloe Keating, Red Bank Regional, So.

    She scored her season-high in a win over Holmdel with six goals to help get the Bucs past the first round.

    Ashleigh Peragine, Holmdel, Sr.

    She led the Hornets with three goals to go along with two forced turnovers and a ground ball in the first round against Red Bank Regional.

    Aileen Carr, Wall, Sr.

    She led the Crimson Knights in the first round against Middletown South when she finished with a hat trick.
