    Howell police seek help finding theft suspect accused of taking $9K from victim's account

    Police are asking for he public's help in tracking down a man they say stole an elderly person's wallet and withdrew $9,000 in cash using their information.

    The theft happened at the ShopRite on Route 9 in Howell, but police have not listed a date of the incident. The time-stamped surveillance still that police say captured the cuplrit's image shows a date of July 27 and appears to have been taken inside a bank.

    Police are urging anyone who can identify the suspect or can provide any information about him to call Detective Bonner at 732-938-4575, Ext. 2647.
