A Pike County man and woman were arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges in the early morning hours of June 12. Little pleads guilty to amended charges in 2020 Floyd County murder case
PRESTONSBURG — One month after his plea deal was withdrawn, a former Pike County man pleaded guilty to amended charges in a 2020 Floyd County murder case. Enos Little, 50, who had twice rejected a plea deal offered by Commonwealth's Attorney Brent Turner, accepted the agreement June 6 in Floyd Circuit Court and entered guilty pleas to second-degree assault and facilitation to kidnapping in connection to the 2020 death of Wesley Hook, 30, of Pikeville.

Owner charged with intoxication, child endangerment in business
The owner of a downtown Pikeville business was arrested recently after, police said, she was found to be intoxicated and responsible for a minor employee. According to the arrest citation written by Pikeville Police Officer Tiason Lockridge, on June 4, he was dispatched to Steph's Downtown Swag on Caroline Avenue where it was reported that the owner, Stephanie Roop, 53, of Seventh Street, Pikeville, was intoxicated and a danger to herself and others.
