Hensley qualifies for Momentum conference
Edward Jones Financial Advisor J.C. Hensley recently qualified for the Edward Jones recognition conference, Momentum, which celebrates the contributions and achievements of the firm's most successful financial advisors, according to a statement from Edward Jones. The event was held May 20-23 in Orlando, Florida, and included financial advisors from both the U.S. and Canada.

Belfry used a quick start against Pikeville Wednesday night and never let up in the 15th Region Tournament semifinals at StoneCrest. At the end of the night, the Lady Pirates came away with a 12-2 win in five innings over Pikeville to advance to their first 15th Region Tournament championship appearance in 20 years.
UPike announces expansion of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine
The University of Pikeville and the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine have announced an expansion of the medical school’s class size. Beginning in 2026, KYCOM plans to increase its annual class by 60 students, bringing the total number of students to 200 per class for a total of 800 medical students. The Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation has been notified of the intent and leadership at the college is working on the application, according to a statement from the university.

Crist promoted to associate head coach
