‘A team capable of winning’: CA Tigers complete third season with second place finish at WCWS

It’s been over two years since Marysville’s summer collegiate wood-bat team disbanded, leaving the Yuba-Sutter region without any college developmental program.

While there is still baseball played at Bryant Field with the introduction of the Marysville Drakes to the area prior to the 2023 summer season, it is a vastly different organization than the summer collegiate programs that exist in other areas of Northern California.
