Police association voices support for Measure G

Following Marysville Police Chief Christian Sachs’ public support of Measure G, the Marysville Police Officers Association voted last week to fully back the extension of a 1% general sales tax already in place in the city.

With Measure C set to expire at the end of 2026, Measure G is an extension of the sales tax that officials have said not only funded an increase in the number of police officers in the city, but also saved it from potential financial default.
