Arcadia council approves condo development, tree removal
The Arcadia City Council voted 3-2 on Thursday to move forward a large condominium development at 314-326 S. Second Ave., a few blocks south of Huntington Drive. The three-story, 33-foot complex housing 16 units on about 59,440 square feet received Planning Commission approval earlier this year. The complex’s 16 units will range from 2,305-3,207 square feet with four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.

Everybody would also tell you, and you can see for yourself, the athletic LeBron, dominant that he was a couple of years ago, is not the same that he is now. I think people get fooled by the names on paper. But those names have been built throughout their career, and now they’re older. They’re not what they used to be.”

Suspected tool robbery in Landers ends in arrest
An alleged robbery of tools led to a hospitalization and an arrest of a man on parole. At around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (July 18), a witness reported an altercation between neighbors in Landers. The report made to the Sheriff’s Department indicates that an 85 year-old got into a conflict with Eddie Lowery, 52, over the whereabouts of tools in the 59000 block of Philippi Lane in Landers.
