    Prosser Rotary Club and Prosser's Boys & Girls Club to host inaugural bike ride

    PROSSER, Wash. -- The City of Prosser has teamed up with the Prosser Boys & Girls Club to co-host the inaugural Prosser Rotary Bike Ride Fundraiser.

    The bike ride event will be Saturday, May 18 with three ride to choose from.

    The first choice is a 30-mile ride around Prosser High School with a turn around at Sunnyside High School; registration will be at 10 a.m. and the ride will start at 11 a.m. Attendees not interested in a 30-miles ride, have the option to turn around at Grandview Palacios Park for a 14-mile trip. For these rides, attendees will need to donate $30 to the Prosser Rotary.

    There is another option led by the Prosser Boys & Girls Club that will begin at Prosser High School and go through the Historic Downtown Pony Trial; registration will be at 11:30 a.m. and the ride begins at 12:30 p.m. This ride is free for students riding with parents or caregivers.

    Helmets are required to be able to participate.
