    Operation Best Friend: Meet Ollie!

    By Morgan Huff,

    2024-05-09

On Operation Best Friend, the Benton-Franklin Humane Society will feature one dog that's looking for a home every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest.

On May 8th, the dog of the day was 2.5-year-old German Shepherd, Ollie.

Ollie came to BFHS in January after being tied to the shelters front door with another dog.

Ollie know basic commands like sit or shake. LOVES to play tug-of-war and fetch.

BFHS said Ollie would be a great starter dog and does fantastic with other animals in the shelters Puppy Play Group. He is a great yard dog and will get his energy out by playing and running around a big lawn.

Ollie is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $55.

The family who decides to adopt any of the pets featured weekly will receive a $50 gift card to Paws Natural Pet Emporium.

The Benton Franklin Humane Society is located at 1736 East 7th Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99337

Watch #OperationBestFriend every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest at 5 and 6 a.m.
