Benton Franklin Fair awards $10,000 scholarships to local youth

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Benton Franklin Fair & Horse Heaven Round-Up announced the recipients of its 2024 scholarships.

$10,000 in scholarships will be awarded to youth in the community. Anna Geddes, Adryen Valdez and Talyn Sandifer each received a $2,500 scholarship for the college or trade school of their choice. All three all participated in the Fair and exhibited their commitment to both their academic and extracurricular activities.

Benton Franklin Fair Queen Lexi Hagins will also receive a $2,500 scholarship after serving as the ambassador of the Fair by travelling around the Northwest promoting the Fair and Rodeo.

The Fair has provided $97,060 in scholarships over the last 20 years showing its commitment to nurturing the education and success of young people in the community.
