    Pasco to host Memorial Day event honoring armed forces personnel with ceremony

    PASCO, Wash. -- The City of Pasco is hosting a Memorial Day event to honor the service and sacrifice of U.S. armed forces personnel.

    The event will be Monday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at the City View Cemetery located at 1300 North Oregon Avenue, in Pasco.

    At the event there will be ceremony that will include performances of "God Bless the USA" and "Battle Hymn of the Republic" by local artists Vickie Evans and Scott Sandifer.

    The event will include activities such as a wreath presentation and flag-raising ceremonies conducted by the Honor Guard and the Tri-Cities Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol.
