Today: We could have some showers leftover from yesterday’s disturbance, but most showers should dissipate around 8 AM. After that, Tuesday will be a dry day with clearing skies and light haze. Highs will be cooler compared to yesterday, but still a few degrees above average. It’ll be in the low-80s in the Blue Foothills, with mid to upper-80s for the Kittitas Valley, Yakima Valley, and Lower Columbia Basin. Winds will be calming throughout the day, but could still gust between 20-30 MPH in the morning for portions of the Kittitas Valley, Lower Columbia Basin, and Blue Foothills.

BENTON CO., Wash. — Law enforcement have highlighted several serious hit and run cases across the Tri-Cities in recent weeks, including a man driving off after hitting a pregnant woman walking near the Cable Bridge, and another man fleeing the scene after hitting a Ben Franklin Transit bus into a resident’s yard in Richland.
