REGIONAL - Tri-Cities law enforcement are again dealing with vehicles at the canals.

One of the crashes happened early Saturday morning. According to the Kennewick Police Department, a man was reported to have left a bar in the city and witnesses said the man appeared to be drunk.

Officers responded to the area and said they found the vehicle described by witnesses had crashed on the embankment of a nearby canal. People also reported they had spotted the man getting out of the car and leaving the scene.

According to officers, they said they found the driver a short time later and arrested him on suspicion of DUI and hit and run.

In West Richland, officers responded to a car submerged in an irrigation canal. Authorities said the driver was able to climb out of the window before the car went under.

I know this will be REALLY unpopular, but... Don't drink! You don't need alcohol to have a good time. How many accidents, deaths, and family problems involve people being intoxicated?

Starting to think this is becoming yet another dumb ass tic tok challenge. Get drunk, get stupid and drive, then park you car in a canal just to wash the piss out of your pants from not being able to hold every drink you drank.
