Operation Best Friend: Meet Papa!

On Operation Best Friend, the Benton-Franklin Humane Society will feature one dog that's looking for a home every Wednesday on Good Morning Northwest.

On October 8, the dog of the day was 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, Papa.

Papa came to BFHS over 600 days ago and is about to hit his 2-year anniversary with BFHS.

Papa does great at the shelter but may have a rowdy playstyle for some families.

BFHS said Papa will need to be the only dog in the household unless the right furry sibling can match his energy. He does not do well with cats.

BFHS said he loves to walk, play with tennis balls and knows basic commands.

Papa is food and treat motivated and will even wait patiently for his food and wont eat until a release cue is given.

Papa is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines.

The family who decides to adopt any of the pets featured weekly will receive a $50 gift card to Paws Natural Pet Emporium.
