Springfield Police and Community Seek Help Finding Missing 14-Year-Old Joarelys Martinez
The Springfield community is urgently seeking the public's assistance in the search for 14-year-old Joarelys Martinez, who has been reported missing since Monday. According to the Springfield Police Youth Aide Bureau, Joarelys was last sighted boarding a bus bound for Baystate Academy. The police have extended a plea to the public, requesting that anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately get in touch.
Missing Springfield man found dead in Camden County
A man who was recently reported as missing was found dead near a golf course on July 24. Brent L. Johnson, 58, of Springfield, was reported missing by his family on Monday morning. Camden County Deputies responded to Old Kinderhook Golf Course near the Lake of the Ozarks to investigate.
Travis Kelce got into altercation with teammate
Travis Kelce made his presence known early on in training camp for the Kansas City Chiefs when he and another teammate got into to it. Kelce got in the face of George Karlaftis after the defender laid out Kadarius Toney during a recent practice. Toney was hurled onto the turf as a result of the tackle by Karlaftis before he stood up and chucked the football back at him. Kelce as clearly unhappy with the overexertion on Karlaftis’s part and let him know about it.

Authorities arrest 4 in Willard, Mo., after morning chase, business burglary investigation
WILLARD, Mo. (KY3)—Authorities arrested four wanted suspects in a burglary investigation that led to a pursuit through two counties. Police responded to a call of suspicious activity at the Marionville Power Sports on U.S. 60 in Marionville around 5:30 a.m. on Thursday. A passerby saw a U-Haul truck backed up to the business’s glass doors and left. A Lawrence County deputy later noticed that the U-Haul matched the description.
