Jason Caldwell's Monday morning quarterback column
Before I get into the rest of the league, I thought Hugh Freeze, Payton Thorne, Eugene Asante and Keldric Faulk represented Auburn very well. There's honestly very, very little to be learned at these gatherings any longer, so it's now more about the SEC Network and making it a TV event. That's just the way it is.

Arena Football Game Ends In Pandemonium As Badly Missed Field Goal Results In Walk-Off ‘Kick-Six’
Saturday’s arena football game between the Quad City Steamwheelers and the Jacksonville Sharks ended with a bang. A badly missed field goal resulted in a walk-off “kick-six” that featured at least four missed tackles. It wasn’t quite as exciting as Auburn’s legendary return against Alabama in the Iron Bowl, but it will undoubtedly scratch your […] The post Arena Football Game Ends In Pandemonium As Badly Missed Field Goal Results In Walk-Off ‘Kick-Six’ appeared first on BroBible.
Maligned Jeremy Pruitt may have factored into Nick Saban’s retirement
While Nick Saban's retirement as the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide was always going to be shocking whenever it came down simply due to the magnitude of the decision, it was not entirely out of left field. In his 70s and with the modern college football landscape dramatically changing over recent years, the time for the GOAT among head coaches to step away seemed near for quite some time.

The 2024 college football season is going to look very different. From conference realignment to a 12-team playoff, the new era is hoping to attract more fans to the sport. Another notable change will be Nick Saban sitting behind a desk while watching the new Alabama head coach, Kalen DeBoer, try to continue the great work Saban did in his 18 years with the program. With the changing of the guard comes questions. Can Alabama continue the success they had under Saban?

Seahawks Predicted to Add 35-TD QB With ‘Unrecognized Potential’
The Seattle Seahawks could be an ideal landing spot for this highly touted quarterback prospect. As predicted by Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski in his 2025 NFL Mock Draft, he projects the Seahawks to take Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe with the seventh overall pick in next year’s draft. A major argument for Milroe landing in Seattle is the familiarity of the coaching staff, which features first-year offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. Grubb coached with Crimson Tide head coach Kaleb DeBoer when both were members of the Washington Huskies coaching staff.
